Day 13!! Also, Weigh In Tuesday :)

I am now on day #13 of my Weight Watchers diet!! I think I am doing pretty well. Last week, I did Tae Bo 3 days in a row, this week I've only done it once (yesterday) and plan on doing it again today. I am feeling great, I haven't gotten sore from doing it yet (I am still learning the moves so that could be why, once I get into it more I'll probably get sore).

I also weighed in this morning, here are my stats:

Start weight: 177.6lbs.
Current weight: 174.6
Total weight lost: 3lbs.
Weight left until first goal is reached: 14.6lbs.

There you have it!! I think i'm doing really good :) I hope I continue to do so well.

I also have some goals for this week, I want to:

1) Try to get in my 64oz. of water a day
2) Try to walk at least 20 minutes a day
3) Try to do Tae Bo 3-4 times this week
4) Try not to "cheat" on my diet by eating sweets or going over my total amount of points.

Update!

I noticed that I haven't really posted anything here in a few days. I am now on day 9 of my WW diet and I've lost a total of 2lbs. already. It is almost time to lower the number of points I get in a day (once I reach 174), it will go from about 25 to 23, so not a huge difference or anything. It's getting easier every passing day, so that's good.

As for exercise, I have been walking (at a leisurely pace) for about 20-45 minutes a day (depends on if I go for one walk or two) and I have been doing some Tae Bo!!! I started the Tae Bo a few days ago and I'm really enjoying it. One weird thing about it all is, I'm not even sore AT ALL right now!!! During the workout I feel a little sore, and then afterwards I'm a little weak but the next morning I am fine.....weird huh? I have also jumped on the trampoline a little bit (not much though).

I have been drinking more water, but still not enough. I am trying my best to drink as much as possible.

My start weight was 177.6lbs. and now I am at 175.4lbs. Only a few more pounds and I'll weigh as much as Justin does hehe.

Wow, what a work-out!

I mentioned yesterday that I was going to start doing Tae Bo. Well, I didn't get to it yesterday but I started this afternoon. Wow, what an amazing work out video. It's not very easy but I had LOTS of fun with it!! I can't wait to do it again.

After I was done, I was sweating and I was soo full of adrenaline but so tired at the same time. I just had a huge glass of water and came straight to the computer for some wind down time.

I'm planning on doing it Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for starters!!

Just thought I would share.

Drinking Water

Oh man, do I ever HATE water!!! I rarely drink it and that's not good at all. So, I am going to start drinking more water (even if I have to add some flavoring to it). Iced Tea is only 1 point, so that's pretty good (but it was LOTS of sugar).

Wish me luck!! My goal is 6 glasses a day, let's see if I can do this!!

Tae Bo

I am going to be starting this today. We have 3 of the videos (Instructional, Basic and 8 minute work out) here at home. I am going to start with the Instructional, and do that one for the first little while, until I get used to all the moves and everything. Eventually, I will start doing the basic and then the 8 minute work out). Starting slow of course, I don't want to hurt myself or work myself too hard.

I'm so excited and can't wait to start!! I'm hoping it helps with my weight loss and hopefully even my energy level (which is pretty low right now).

Days 3 and 4!

Today is day 4 of my weight watchers diet! I think I am doing pretty good. I am not supposed to weigh myself until Tuesday, but I caved and weighed mysel this morning. I wasn't going to say anything about it but, I have lost 1 pound already!!!

Yesterday, I couldn't really count my points for dinner. We went out to Costco and ate dinner there, so I didn't know how many points the food I ate was. We are guessing I had about my max number of points (which is 27) or maybe a little less. Luckily, I had some points "banked" that I hadn't used yet, so those went towards yesterdays dinner.

For breakfast I had some cereal with milk, for a total of 4 points.

For lunch I had a peice of farmer sausage on bread and some milk, for a total of 7 points.

For dinner, I shared some chicken fingers and french fries with Isaac and had an ice cream cone and a drink.

Today for breakfast I had some Special K Vanilla and Almond cereal with milk (of course) and 1 cup of Orange Juice, for a total of 6 points.

For lunch, I had 1/2 cup minute rice with Soya Sauce and 1/2 bag of popcorn, for a total of 5 points.

For dinner, we are having Ham and something else. I'm not sure how many points that will be. However, I have 14 points left for the rest of the day.

Haven't been doing too much exercise recently though. We did lots of walking yesterday, but nothing to vigorous or anything. Today, we are just relaxing at home and having fun together.

Day #2!

Once again, it went well. It was a little easier today, but still a bit hard. I keep seeing those Gummy Worms in our cupboard and just want to eat them all up lol. I posted a dieter's prayer (that I got off of my christian board) on both my fridge and pantry doors. Every time I go get food, I read it and it seems to help.

For breakfast I had: 1 1/4 cups Corn Flakes with 1 cup of milk, for a total of 4 points.

For Lunch I had: 1 garden salad with dressing and water, for a total of 4 points.

For dinner I had: 2 peices of Farmer Sausage, 4 Perogies and 1 cup of milk, for a total of 14 points.

So, altogether I had 22 (out of 25) points!!! So, I have a few extra points for when we go out tomorrow afternoon and evening :)

Day #1!!

Yesterday was day 1 of my WW diet and I think it went pretty well. I had a little trouble NOT eating some things that were tempting to me, but I conquered that :) I even had enough points left over to have a can of grape pop (which is 4 points, ouch) and I had 1 point left over, even after that.

Here's what I had yesterday:

For Breakfast I had: 1 1/4 cups of Corn Flakes with 1 cup of milk and 1 Banana for a total of 6 points.

For Lunch I had: 1 garden salad with dressing and a glass of Iced Tea, for a total of 5 points.

For Dinner I had: 2 wraps (2 tortilla shells, 2 tbsp sour cream, 1/2 cup ground beef and salsa), for a total of 9 points (the salsa is 0 points).

Then, while watching TV, I had 1 can of grape pop, for a total of 4 points.

So, altogether, I had 24 (out of 25) points. So, I can "bank" 1 point for another day :)

Also, I walked Trin to school (not at a very fast pace though) and that was 20 minutes, we went for another walk in the evening for about 10-15 minutes (once again, at a slow pace) and then I jumped on the trampoline for about 10 minutes (with the girls or it would have been longer). Also, I cleaned the house and went up and down the stairs a few times.

Now, we're on day 2 :)

Start Weight

I stepped on the scale this morning and I weighed in at 177.4 lbs. I am already starting to lose weight lol. 2 days ago I weighed in at 177.6 lbs. I can't wait to see how much weight I lose when I'm actually DIETING!!!

I will be weighing myself again Tuesday and then every Tuesday after that.
