Tomorrow

I start my weight watchers diet tomorrow! So, today I'm pigging out on all the things I won't be able to eat much of once I start lol.

I am so excited for this and can't wait to start. I hope I have enough willpower to do this lol.

Exercise

I dont do much of this at the moment, due to low energy, but I am hoping to start (slowly of course). I already walk about 20 minutes a day (to the school and back) but since the kids are with me, it's not very fast. Sometimes I'll go for another walk, by myself, in the afternoon, so that I could walk faster and actually have something happen lol. I guess in the summer I go more exercise, because it's nice and we can jump on the trampoline, run around outside, go to the park, go for walks, etc.

We have one of those Ab Master thingies, which came with a video, so I might start doing those. We also have the Tae Bo series, maybe eventually I will do those. I'm also thinking of buying an exercise video at the store or something.

I also do lots of stair climbing lol. I would have to say I go up and down the stairs an average of 4-5 times a day (you would double that since i'm going up AND down the stairs).

Anyways, that's what I've been doing and am planning on doing! :)

Weighing In!

This is how the weighing in is going to work:

Since I am starting this May 1st, I am going to weigh myself that morning and that is going to be my start weight. That is a Thursday.

The Tuesday after that, 5 days later, I am going to weigh myself again and then every Tuesday morning after that.

This is the scale we are using: http://www.amazon.com/Weight-Watchers-Portable-Precision-Electronic/dp/B0000E13C2. It takes your weight in 1/2 lb. or 0.2 Kilogram increments, so as an example, it would show 177.6 lbs. as my weight (like it did this morning).

Every time I weigh myself I will be posting it here, so everyone can see how it's going along! This is going to be fun :)

May 1st, 2008

Starting this day, I am on a weight watchers diet. Justin's mom gave me everything I'll need to get started. I have already figured out how many points a day I can have (25) for my weight (which right now is about 177) and I started writing down all the foods we eat with their points.

I will be weighing in every Tuesday morning and posting it in this blog sometime during that day (most likely in the morning or afternoon). I will post my start weight along with my current weight every week, so that we can see how far I've come.

My goal right now is 10% of my weight which is about 160lbs. So, we'll start with that and see how it goes from there.
